HOW IT WORKS

INITIAL CONVERSATION
Send me an email with a brief description of your project. Please include in your message: the size of the wall, the type of space (i.e. office, storefront, bedroom, nursery, indoors or outdoors, etc.) and creative direction for the artwork. Feel free to send me images of any stylistic influences like artwork or other murals that you like. With this information gathered I can provide a general price estimate. In the meantime we can discuss further ideas over email, text or a phone call.
PRICING
Pricing ranges between €45 and €95 per square meter, depending on the complexity of the design. These price ranges do include the cost of insurance, materials, design, labour and equipment for the mural painting. It's also important to note that my work will not include general preparation of the wall (i.e. cleaning, priming or clear coating).
CONTRACT & DESIGN COSTS
In my proposal for the project I will include the final price quote and a contract. If you would like to move forward with the project, you will need to sign a contract and cover the design costs. These can vary based on the size of the project, but it's typically about 10% of the overal price for the mural. Once these are received I will begin working on some designs for your artwork and we can schedule out the painting phase.
CREATING THE DESIGN
We begin the official design process with a clear description of the concept and imagery of the piece. This is done through collaboratively brainstorming and sharing visual ideas and images that might inspire the artwork. From there, I go to work and begin sketching the initial design. I’ll then email the sketch to you for your feedback. At this point, things can be moved, changed, and adjusted in different ways, so don't hesitate to let me know if you want things to be adjusted. I’ll work on any changes and then send it back for approval.
MURAL DEPOSIT
A 50% deposit of the total fee is due one week prior to the first day of on-site painting. This allows for ordering of supplies and confirms the scheduling dates. At this time we can also review the mural design again and see if either of us have any new thoughts or ideas. We will confirm the start date and time and any preparation of the space if necessary.
PAINTING
I typically paint for about 6 to 8 hours each day, usually starting around 10 am (but this is open for discussion). During the on-site painting days you are more than welcome to regularly come in and take a look at the progress. As I get close to completing the project, we review the work together to see if anything is missing or if something doesn't feel right. We create a list of final tweaks that are needed, and, assuming it's reasonable and within the original price range, I make the final adjustments. When finished, I will sign the artwork (only when it's a commercial / public space) and your mural is complete.

FINAL PAYMENT
A final payment of the full remaining balance is due upon completion of the mural.
